OMNE SINGLE VINEYARD CABERNET SAUVIGNON 2017
MADAI ATLANTIC OLD VINE MENCIA 2017
100% Mencia. Estate-grown and sustainably farmed. Average vine age is 90 years old. Fermentation and 12 months sur lie aging in just two 500mL French oak barrels. Less than 150 cases produced. The time this wine spends in oak adds great depth of fruit and silkiness to the palate. Classic aromas of violets and dark berries are accompanied by baking spices and smoke. The palate is vibrant and inviting as a young wine, but structured to evolve with age.
ALQUIMISTA 'CONFLUENCE' PINOT NOIR 2016
Flowing from 3 vineyard sources, this blend of Russian River Valley’s floodplains with deep, alluvial soils combine with the raised ancient seabed soils found in the Sebastopol Hills. Coming from some of the oldest vines in both of those districts, this cuvee draws on the strengths of each vineyard to produce a balanced wine that represents the best of our cool-climate home. Drawing from the structure of the Mes Filles Vineyard, the firm acid backbone of Hawk’s Roost Ranch and the pretty ebullience of the Lorenzo Vineyard, the nose is greeted with dried flowers, red fruits/cranberries and bayberry spice. Structural synergy plays on the palate with cranberry and finishes long with red cherries and rose petals.
