Emendis Brut NV Cava ($14.99)

Emendis Brut has a pale aspect with gold and emerald nuances and exhibits a delicate string of fine bubbles with a homogenous corona. It has a primary nose of soft woody tones with citrus notes, ‘memories’ of bay-leaf and a lingering finish of sweet orange. To the palate presents a fine acidity with soft bubbles of good duration. In the mouth it is rounded and elegant exhibiting velvety memories of sweet fruits and leaving a light aftertaste of raw almond.

Emendis Rose NV Cava ($19.99)

Emendis Brut Rosé, has an agreeable cherry color with nuances of bright salmon. It has a fine bright stream of bubbles forming a true corona. The nose is rich with aromas of wild fruits and redcurrant. It hints at a light, reduced maturation producing a great elegance. On the palate it begins as slightly piquant with spicy notes. The fine and enduring bubbles are well accompanied by a balanced acidity. It leaves a toasty memory and a generous, sweet finish.

Itsasmendi Txakoli ($17.99)

2016 60% Hondarrabi Zuri and 40% Hondarrabi Zuri Zerratie - Estate grown. The wide range of soils and microclimates in the vineyards make for a harvest that stretches out over weeks. Sustainable viticulture and environmentally friendly winemaking stamp their mark on the personality of this Txakoli. Each parcel from the loam and clay vineyards are vinified separately in stainless steel tanks. One of Spain’s foremost oenologists, Ana Martín, is the winemaker behind these dynamic expressions of these traditional Basque grapes. Straw-lemon in color, a youthful, fruit-driven wine with notes of lemon drops, ripe grapefruit and more subtle floral notes. On the palate, its crisp and expressive with a persistent and pleasantly bitter finish typical of the grape varieties from this region. Bodegas Itsasmendi (Basque for “Sea and Mountain”) comprises 35 hectares of vineyards originally planted in 1989. It’s located in the Basque DO of Bizkaiko Txakolina overlooking the Bay of Biscay, not far from the city of Bilbao. Grapes are farmed by a small group of partners who own the extraordinarily beautiful land.

Bodegas Tierra Tierra Crianza 2015 ($17.99)

Clusters are hand-picked and carefully selected and destemmed into stainless steel deposits for a 7-day natural fermentation, followed by a 7- day maceration. Malolactic fermentation is carried out naturally and spontaneously in cement deposits and mixed oak barrels. Aged between twelve and fourteen months in 225 liter barrels. The aging process varies depending on the evolution of the wine in the given year. Rich cherry color with balanced wood integration that respects the purity of the fruit. Fresh lifted aromas and a complex, blueberry and spice palate with long, supple finish.

Coca i Fito Tocat de L'Ala Negre 2015 ($19.99)

This is our most emblematic red wine made in the DO Empordà. It is a very limited production, exclusive wine. Made using grapes sourced from very old Grenache and Carignan vines, planted on slate and flint based soils. This wine epitomizes the DO Empordà and the wisdom of the old vines which transmit a magnificent explosion of emotions through these grapes. This explosion expresses the area where the grapes grow. It is a wine to enjoy. Aging 12 to 13 months in French oak barrels. 55% Grenache (60 to 100 year old vines), 45% Carignan (90 to 100 year old vines)

Coca i Fito Tocat de L'Ala Blanc 2015 ($18.99)

A young white DO Empordà wine. The indigenous grape varieties are White Grenache and Macabeu. Aged and made more beautiful by a little ageing “sur lies”, the resulting wine is refreshing, citric, pleasant and makes our palate salivate. Good citric and tropical fruit notes, ripe white fruit and flowers used for perfume. This personifies DO Empordà wines, whisking us away to the rugged Costa Brava coastal coves at every sip. 4 months aged “sur lies”, in stainless steel tanks. 60% White Grenache (20 to 60 year old vines), 40% Macabeu (20 to 60 year old vines)

Famila Bastida Larsa Tempranillo 2016 ($10.99)

Familia Bastida, with wineries owned in different Designation of Origin since 1870 and several generations dedicated exclusively to the world of wines, works with deep enthusiasm in this project with the objective to group together different Designations of Origin from Spain, looking for the specifications of each one in unique plots in small productions. The Tempranillo grapes, grown in our estate vineyards that comprise of a mixture of clay and sand and a high concentration of limestone and many small stones. The stones help to retain the moisture in the soil during the long dry summer season. Larsa Tempranillo is full bodied with a round palate, soft sweet tannins and a long finish not overshadowed by the oak aging. The quality of the grapes give us cleanliness and aromatic notes of mature blueberry and plums, structure and a beautiful finish of fruit, spice and a perfect balance of acidity.

Familia Bastida Larsa Garnacha 2016 ($11.99)

100% Garnacha - Familia Bastida, with wineries owned in different Designation of Origin since 1870 and several generations dedicated exclusively to the world of wines, works with deep enthusiasm in this project with the objective to group together different Designations of Origin from Spain, looking for the specifications of each one in unique plots in small productions. Bodegas Finca la Estacada 'Ocho y Medio' Tempranillo 2017 ($10.99)

The fresh aromas of cherries, and cranberries and the structured mouth with sweet tannins help this balanced fresh wine give a structured mouth feel.

Bodegas Finca la Estacada 'Ocho y Medio' Malbec 2017 ($10.99)

Opaque purple in color with a bright, floral nose of boysenberries. Sourced from a single vineyard of 18 year old vines, vinified in steel and treated to a brief nap in new oak (avg 2 weeks!), the wine is a youthful, easy to-drink, food-friendly version of Malbec, showing more in common with Cot from France's Loire valley than the suave Argentine style or tannic model from Cahors.

Bodegas Finca la Estacada 'Hello World' Petit Verdot 2017 ($11.99)

Hello World! Petit Verdot is a wine with an intense depth, with red cherry color, and bluish sparkles. It presents aromas of licorice and eucalyptus, but also aromas of ripe fruit. In the palate, this wine is fresh, intense with a great body and a nice final length. It is a young wine and recommended to drink before 12-14 months. Pairs well with roasts and red meats.

Bodegas Finca la Estacada 'Hello World' Cabernet Franc 2017 ($11.99)

Delicate aromas of raspberry jam and spicy green grass, together with ripe fruit and black pepper notes, lead to a luscious mouth-full of dark red fruit and delicate soft tannins and a long fruity and spicy finish. It is powerful and fresh, balanced and full-bodied. The alcoholic and malolactic fermentation have been developed simultaneously. This allow to produce fresher and more fruit forward wines.
