Altos de Torona belongs to the O.D. Rias Baixas, specifically the subzone of O Rosal. Composed of Albariño, Caiño and Loureira grape varieties and has an annual output of 40,000 bottles. Each variety is separately hand harvested once the grapes have reached the optimum degree of ripeness. The grapes are crushed, de-stemmed and cold macerated. Fermentation is carried out at controlled temperatures until complete vinification has been achieved. Matured over fine lee during for four months, providing greater smoothness and singularity to the wine. A high-level wine with mystic echoes. Distinctive character as a result of the “coupage” of our varieties (Albariño, Loureiro and Caiño). Complex aromatic nuances, where fresh and mature fruits converge. High-intensity, with hints of stone fruits and tropical touches of mango and passionfruit. A sweet toothed wine, well structured, and with tingling vivacity, well balanced on the palate. Long persistent aftertaste while respecting the aromas and flavors of the varieties.
