Grapes were hand selected and picked from our original plantings of Pinot Gris. A portion fermented in a large German oak Oval with the remainder in old French oak barriques. After ageing on lees for 7 months the wine was blended and bottled. Straw colored with bouquet of figs, mango, and spiced pears with secondary aromas of nuts and whole grains. The palate is ripe, low cropping fruit and has expressed lavish palate weight that supports a dry and sophisticated structure.
