100% Grenache - TIERRA CALMA comes from a north-facing hillside plot of land at an altitude of 670 meters from vines over 60 years old, located in the foothills of the Sierra de Gredos. The entire harvest is picked and selected by hand to produce exclusive wines with very limited production. French oak is synonymous with elegance in wines, ideal for the settling and maturation. Nine months is the ideal time for TIERRA CALMA to rest in these fine barrels. Cherry red color with a garnet edge. Fine on the nose, clean and intense in the mouth, it reveals bouquets of well- ripened red fruit. Accompanied by floral notes and aromatic herbs with a mineral sensation. Good balance of fruit, acidity and freshness. Pleasant and silky, very full in the mouth. Nestled in a valley between the Sierra de Madrid and the Sierra de Gredos, the town of San Martín de Valdeiglesias is home to Vinedos Tierra Calma and this unique microclimate. The Sierra de Gredos is one of the most promising and interesting wine growing regions in Spain. The diversity and richness of the soils and landscapes give the wines of this area their character. Its degree of humidity and acidity rating favor the production of a unique and different Grenache, producing an elegant wine with great personality, freshness, acidity, intensity and character.
